Concentration Adviser for Mather House
Departmental Writing Fellow
Hello! I'm a PhD candidate in Government studying Comparative Politics. My research focuses on authoritarianism, media, and public opinion, primarily in the Middle East and North Africa.
Before coming to Harvard, I received my MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies at Oxford University, where I was a Marshall Scholar, and my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, where I studied Comparative Literature and Political Science. In between, I worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a think tank in Washington D.C., researching human rights issues.
