Sarah Gustafson

I am a fifth year in the Government PhD Program studying the History of Political Thought and Political Philosophy. I have taught as a TF in Government 1060 (Ancient and Medieval Political Philosophy) for Harvey Mansfield; in Government 1089 (Political Thought in the French Revolution) for Richard Tuck; in Goverment 1023 (Conservatism and its Critics) for Eric Nelson; and for Michael Sandel's Justice course in the GenEd Program and at the Extension School. I would be happy to advise theses in ancient and medieval, as well as Enlightenment and 19th century political thought, and theses about religion and politics. I love teaching and take mentoring seriously, and greatly benefited from an intensive undergraduate thesis program, and so would like to pass on that gratitude by being an adviser.
