Peer Concentration Counselor
Class of 2020 (Quincy House)
Kelley Babphavong

Hi! My name is Kelley Babphavong and I'm a senior in Quincy House studying Government with a secondary in Regional Studies: Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. I’m also getting a language citation in French (I studied abroad in Paris my junior spring) and speak Lao and Thai fluently. I was born and raised in Rhode Island and love home. I'm passionate about conservative politics, campaign work, and anti-communism.

Outside of peer counseling for Government, I have served as President of Harvard Right to Life, Secretary of the Harvard Republican Club, Vice President of the Network of Enlightened Women, and Treasurer and Chief Whip of the John Adams Society. I've also been involved in the IOP as a liaison for Corey Lewandowski, Sarah Isgur Flores, Mary Katharine Ham, and Guy Benson and as a member of Education Policy, Campaigns & Activism Program, Membership MAL, and Campaign Managers Conference Student Producer.

Outside of Harvard, I am a Hertog Foundation Fellow, NAUDL Alumni Ambassador, and Campus Reform MA Correspondent (through which, I have been on NPR, CBS, Fox News, and more), and volunteer judge for the Boston Debate League.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the concentration! I was deciding between a couple of concentrations before I chose Government and would highly recommend it to anyone else. I'm always happy to discuss classes, extracurriculars, or anything at all! I spent freshman summer working as a full-time manager for Harvard Student Agencies, interning at the Heritage Foundation during sophomore summer, and doing political consulting my junior summer.
