Concentration Adviser for Kirkland House
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University with a focus on international relations and technology. My dissertation centers on interest groups in the context of ICT security and governance, and examines the relationship between technology diffusion and cybersecurity. It utilizes technical administrative data, network analysis, document forensics, and fieldwork to understand how, in the absence of international law and organization, groups leverage legal, standards, and policy diffusion to manage the proliferation of ICTs. My other projects examine political and psychological context of cyber attacks, deliberation in international technology forums, and social media engagement strategies during security crises.
