PhD Candidate in Government
DH

I am a PhD candidate in the Harvard Government Department, where I study political philosophy and the history of political thought. I have served as a Teaching Fellow, and I supervised a Social Studies senior thesis in 2020-2021. My research deals primarily with nineteenth century critiques of capitalism, but I have further interests in democratic theory, American political thought, Marx and Marxism, classical liberalism, and theoretical approaches to international trade and competition. I am happy to advise theses on topics ranging from intellectual history to applied ethics to contemporary political theory.
