Hi! I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Government studying international relations and political psychology. My research examines the psychological roots of territorial conflict - why do people feel so strongly about disputed territory, and what generates the "political will" to resolve them? I use a mix of quantitative, qualitative, and experimental methods to study this phenomenon across an array of contexts, from South Asia to Latin America to fishing communities in rural Canada. Before starting my Ph.D., I earned a master's degree from Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs and worked at an NGO facilitating unofficial U.S.-China and U.S.-Russia diplomatic exchanges. I also have experience working with the U.S. federal government and teaching English in China. Don't hesitate to reach out about research ideas, public interest careers, applying to grad school, or anything else!
