I am a 6th-year Ph.D. Candidate in Government focused on the comparative political economy of development and of inequality in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. My dissertation book project explores the political causes and consequences of socioeconomic segregation across cities in Brazil and Mexico. I am very enthusiastic about advising senior theses focused on developing countries, using applied quantitative or qualitative methodologies. I have been a TF for Gov 20: Foundations of Comparative Politics, Gov 1295: Comparative Politics of Latin America), and Gov 1005: Data science.
