The 2019 Final Report of the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) in the Government Department proposed the establishment of a standing committee on Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (EDI) to promote three goals:
"1. Monitor progress on CCC initiatives.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies for underrepresented students, faculty, and staff.
3. Coordinate and disseminate information on university and external resources for students, faculty, and staff from underrepresented backgrounds."
The EDI Committee welcomes input from students, faculty, and staff on any aspect of the Government Department. You can reach the members of the committee at the email addresses below.
